Welcome to Carter C. Raymond Junior High School!
I truly believe that an education can change the world. When students are given the right environment, the right teacher, and the right resources- learning takes place. At Carter C Raymond, relationships are formed that foster this process of learning. As a “neighborhood school”, our faculty and staff strive to understand the needs of each student in order to make their years at Carter C Raymond the most productive ever. I am blessed every day to lead the faculty and students we have walking through the doors.
Dr. Summers was recognized as the Middle School Principal of the Year in 2022.
She has 28 years of experience: 25 years in Rapides Parish, and 3 years in Texas.
She has served as principal of Carter C. Raymond Junior High for the past seven years.
